+ namuhueman stands with the black community. we firmly believe that racism, hatred, inequality & inequity have no place in our world as every person has the right to feel safe, be seen & heard.

at the same time, we know systemic racism is real. it has been persistent; & can’t be wished away. if we truly want a better world, we have to ACT to create it.

we mourn the recent yet senseless killings of george floyd, breonna taylor, ahmad arbery & all of the victims of racial injustice across the country as well as around the world. historically, this has gone on for decades because the truth is, this spans decades for black people in this country.

as george floyd has been laid to rest, i want to be clear that we at namuhueman stand for change, for justice, for equity & are firm in our belief that BLACK. LIVES. MATTER!

across history, we’ve seen that real progress often follows real adversity, IF it is addressed with attention, compassion, understanding & urgency. together we can & MUST seize this moment; & sustain it in the future.

we recognize that we have an opportunity & the responsibility to take even more action; & we will!

while we explore each option in our quest to support those on the front lines, we will use our position to spread valued information to help spark change into reality. we are teaching as we are listening & learning. we accept the challenge to do more to make a difference. 

as a society, we simply must do better. 

we’ve started this important work & will keep at it until real change is accomplished; & beyond.
